Max Arthur Macauliffe Public School, proudly hosted an inspiring and interactive Capacity Building Programme (CBP) on “Life Skills and Happy Classroom”, led by renowned CBSE resource person Dr. Navneet Kaur, Principal Blossom Convent School ,Jagraon The session was organized to support the professional development of the school’s faculty members , equipping them with the tools needed to build emotionally strong, student-centric, and joyful classrooms.
The session was attended by all faculty members which focused on the significance of embedding life skills education in the curriculum. Resource person of the day emphasized the importance of nurturing 21stcentury skills such as Self-awareness, Emotional regulation, Critical thinking ,Decision-making etc.
She also discussed the critical link between teacher well-being and a happy classroom environment, sharing strategies for stress management, emotional intelligence, and creative teaching methodologies. Through engaging activities like role plays, reflection exercises, storytelling, and group discussions, participants explored how to create a supportive and inspiring learning space for students.
She emphasized faculty members with the motto, “A happy teacher creates a happy classroom,” urging educators to prioritize not just academic achievement but also student mental health and emotional growth. The session served as a reminder that true learning takes place in an environment where students feel heard, safe, and encouraged.
